A graduate from Delhi University, followed by a 2 year’s program from the Oberoi School of Hotel Management, belonging to the first batch. This was followed by a one year stint with Steigenberger’s Hotel Frankfurter Hof at Frankfurt. Worked for 30 years in several Oberoi Hotels in India and abroad having reached the position of General Manager at The Grand, Calcutta and in Kuwait. Subsequently worked as Director of Development with Oberoi Hotels. He joined Select Hotels in 1997 and is now incharge of all contruction / expansion of the Hotels alsong with the onboard running of The Mahraja Express a train of Indian railways.
His hobbies include Oil paintings of the famous Italian, French and English Masters. Besides this, keenly interested in traveling to off-beat and picturesque locations.
